Reclaim Oneonta is a group that believes all power should be in the hands of the people. The corporate controlled political parties and governments that represent the heights of society can never work for the good of ordinary people at society’s base. If we want change, it must come from below, on our own authority, through our own actions, in our own communities. Towards this end, we are building independent community power one day at a time.

Reclaim Oneonta is a libertarian socialist organization. In our society, working-class people are pulled down false paths, set by our exploiters. Reclaim is one voice that calls for working class people to unite and take the only path that can actually solve our problems: a social revolution against capitalism and the state.
